A Little Bit of My Hometown

So , i got a lot of this question : "Where is your hometown ? "

The short answer is : Padang !
The long answer is : Paaaaaaaaaadaaanggggg ! (lol , kidding ... )

the longer answer is : the capital of West Sumatra , Sumatra is a big island near Singapore and Malaysia

(Hint : The one in RED)

So...

its a small-ish city by indonesia's standard (less than 1M pop. ) and its the slow-paced city .... the one where you can drive a car with just 10kph and no one will complain.

its not really a touristic city  , but there is a bunch of special islands nearby , Mentawai Islands. What so special about those islands ? they're surfing paradise ! (Huge waves )

Hi , I assume most of you already know about Bali Island , and yes , Bali is part of Indonesia.
Most people don't know a lot about Indonesia in general (or don't even know Indonesia at all)

Indonesia have more than 17,000 islands, and there is 5 big islands ( Borneo , Celebes/ Sulawesi , Sumatra , Papua , and Java) .Around 8,000 island have been named while only 900+ islands inhabited.

So, if you're going to Indonesia for travelling and you only have a few days , good luck with that :p

3. Languages

There are 700+ languages spoken across Indonesia with one official national language , Bahasa Indonesia.

Even though there is English lesson at school , its not used that much daily. So if you're planning to go to Indonesia , learn some Indonesian words
